The Torque team recently ventured out to Germany’s Black Forest region to visit fischer fixing’s headquarters and catch up on the firm’s latest changes and plans for the future.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to visit the fischer academy and were given a tutorial in how to mount the firm’s new Duoblade anchors, amongst several other product demonstrations.
Later, we sat down with fischer’s Spokesman of the Board of Managing Directors, Florian Birkenmayer, and Johannes Konrad, Spokesman of the managing board of fischer Automotive Systems, to discuss the firm’s latest investments, future targets, and its rather alternative ‘Kaizen’ philosophy.
A full production tour followed where the team was able to witness first-hand the firm’s polymer and metal processing and observe the workforce’s FPS philosophy in practice.
The full article on Torque’s visit to fischer fixings can be read in the next issue of Torque magazine, out in September.
