TiTE – Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo – is a relatively new trade show, having held its first edition last year. Now, with travel restrictions loosened expectations are growing for its return.
The show is based at Taichung International Exhibition Centre, which is a strategic point. Much like our own Torque-Expo 2024, based on the doorstep of most of the UK’s fastener industry, TiTE’s Taichung location means it is placed in the heart of Taiwan’s ‘tools kingdom’ – over 70% of Taiwan’s 2,300-plus hand tool manufacturers are based in central Taiwan, specifically Taichung, Changhua and Nantou.
Over 200 exhibitors had registered for the 2023 event (correct at early June) which will bring together manufacturers of hand tools, machine tools, screws and fasteners – as well as industrial security. This punchy show also has the backing of a good number of industry associations (20 of them).

// The Expo is the first large-scale cross-regional event that brings together government resources and more the associations. //
“By uniting the fundamental industries of Taiwan, the event aims to expand the global market and showcase Taiwan's value on an international stage, providing an excellent platform for global marketing.”
Mr. Jack Lai, Chairman of the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THTMA)
The exhibition will be split over seven exhibition areas:
Tools & Related Accessories
Automotive Parts, Repair Tools & Maintenance Equipment
Fasteners & Fixings
Garden, Outdoor, Agricultural, & DIY
Metal Testing Equipment, Processing Equipment, & Industrial Safety
Building & Locks
Industrial Software & Digital Transformation
The 2023 TiTE will also feature the "Industrial Software & Digital Transformation" exhibition area, a strategic move to address the increasing demand for digitalisation in the industry. This area will showcase innovative software solutions and their applications in industrial settings, providing a platform for manufacturers to find partners and promote industrial transformation and upgrade.
