Staying organised helps with efficiency, stock levels, processing, safety and so much more. The Dresselhaus DIREKTblack shelf is a new modular concept where everything is in its place and ready to hand.
A modular concept that can be adapted to individual requirements: that describes the new DIREKTblack shelf from Dresselhaus. It is ideal for storage of DIN and standard parts, fastening materials and consumables of all types. In combination with a hand-held scanner or the value-added smartphone app it is virtually effortless to reorder missing articles based on the barcode. The DIREKTblack shelf is available for diverse skilled trades and industries, facilitating a more efficient workday.
// Order is half the battle – or more. //
Order is half the battle – or more. It’s even better not to have to keep things in order yourself, relying instead on practical systems that ensure clearly structured processes. The new DIREKTblack shelf from Dresselhaus is such a system.
One modular system with numerous variants
The new shelf system is comprised of numerous modules, which allow adaptation to the user’s requirements down to the smallest detail. The modular concept offers plenty of options for combinations and variants, which also makes it easy to enhance and expand the shelf system.
Everything needed during the workday in industrial and skilled trade companies can be stored in the DIREKTblack shelf: DIN and standard parts (so-called C-parts, which are indispensable in every production process), as well as consumables such as technical sprays, adhesives and sealants in cartridges, fastening materials of all types, and typical items needed in the shop such as tools, safety gloves and goggles. The system is designed for organised storage, so the items are ready to hand at all times. That is especially advantageous in the case of “small parts”, which have to be stored separately until they are needed, with no risk of being confused with similar items. Each product is provided with a label that is designed for effortless removal from the package so that it can be affixed to the corresponding storage space on the shelf. This not only ensures transparency in the labelling of the shelves. It also facilitates fast and convenient reordering of products online by scanning the barcode on the label – either with the DIREKTbarcodescanner or the Dresselhaus app.

The intelligent, space-saving design of the DIREKTblack shelf ensures optimal utilisation of the available space. The shelf system is made of robust and durable steel elements and is designed for fast and easy assembly. Why black? There are practical reasons for the robust surface coating as it provides long-term protection of the steel construction, hides any signs of wear, and creates a professional, clean-cut image for use in areas that are open to the public, such as retail outlets.
A modular concept with numerous variants
Four pre-configured towers serve as the basis for optimal planning of an individual system, typically with four base elements, from bottom to top: the floor module for stability, followed by three additional modules on top, building upward – standard part modules, drawer modules (also made of Plexiglas), bins as cabinets or for storing cans. Optionally, an advertising sign can be placed on the top module, if the DIREKTblack shelf is to be used in areas with public access or otherwise as an advertising or image carrier. Customers also have the option of planning their own individual DIREKTblack shelf completely according to their own preferences – the number and diversity of available modules and additions is huge. An option for accessing a planning tool with the Dresselhaus app is being developed and will make selecting the desired configuration more convenient and transparent.
