HEICO-LOCK® combi-washers promise effortless bolt securing.
With the HEICO-LOCK® combi-washers, the German manufacturer HEICO has introduced an innovative bolt securing product into the market that offers the user practical handling advantages, especially in demanding installation situations.
Like all products from the HEICO-LOCK® series, the combi-washers are based on the wedge locking principle, in which the bolted connection is secured by maintaining the preload force at a constant high level.
Due to the new type of TPE-ring with small tabs on the inside of the washers, which holds the single washers together as a pair, it is possible to preassemble the combi-washer to the bolt before installing the bolted connection. The combi-washer is simply held on to the bolt by the tabs, so that the user can concentrate on actually tightening the bolt. Particularly when used in hard-to-reach areas or with overhead installations, the combi-washers are the simple and effortless way to secure bolted joints.
The HEICO-LOCK® combi-washers are available from M8 to M16 in steel and stainless steel with standard and enlarged diameters. The washers can be used with nearly all types of bolts and can be supplied on request preassembled with the suitable bolt.
