STAFA

Hot dip galvanized fasteners are recognised as the most efficient protection against corrosion and with an increasing demand Stafa has taken the lead as one of the largest distributors and stockholders specialising in this growth market.

Hot dip galvanized fasteners have an impermeable stable barrier against corrosion and are permanent, durable and shockproof. They are also less damaging to the environment. Furthermore, tens of kilos of zinc are enough for one metric ton of fasteners for an average protection against rust of 60 years, without any significant maintenance needed. Over the years Stafa has become one of the market leaders in hot dip galvanized (ISO 10684) bolts, nuts, washers and threaded rods.

As well as customised threaded rods, nuts, washers and screws, Stafa is also specialised in hexagon bolts. HV bolts and SB bolts are one of its key products. Its SB bolts are certified according to EN 15048 and its HV bolts according to EN 14399. The SB and HV bolts are available in various steels grades such as 8.8 and 10.9. Additionally, Stafa have an extensive range of ISO-fitted fasteners directly available from stock including DIN 931 and DIN 933.

Stafa’s products are being used in all types of constructions like football stadiums, bridges, greenhouses, windmills and much more. Because Stafa is a low-threshold organisation, (potential) customers can always contact the company for customised products for specific constructions. This way it is able to provide products for nearly any type of construction.

Of course construction bolts need to make sure constructions meet the highest safety standards. Therefore, quality is one of the most important aspects for Stafa. The company makes sure that all products meet the industry standard by testing it in their own in-house quality department. Stafa’s quality control systems consist of various tests such as: Tensile test, hardness test, optical test, test for wire deviations, microscopic surface check and salt spray test.

Hafren Pin Hex Security Fasteners

Looking for a hex socket screw, but with added tamper resistance? Why not use the Hafren Pin Hex range? (also known as Socket Pin or Hex Pin). Like standard socket head screws, but with a forged security pin centrally within the hexagonal socket recess, which will resist standard socket bits and Allen keys.

Suitable for medium torque applications; Pin Hex fixings are ideal for use in place of standard socket screws and/or other standard fixings, where tamper resistance is required. These security fasteners are 2-Way so can be removed (using the matching Hafren Pin Hex tooling) where removal for maintenance/servicing etc is required.

A wide range of standard sizes available (stocked in A2 stainless steel). Range includes AB type self-tapping & metric machine screws available from stock. Stocked from M3 to M12 in varying lengths from 6mm to 120mm! Also available in a range of raised countersunk M3.5 machine screws for use in securing electrical appliances such as plug sockets etc.
