“Besides blind rivets, blind rivet nuts and studs, we manufacture and sell setting tools in three different variants: handheld tools, pneumatically operated setting tools and also battery-powered setting tools. In addition, we also develop and produce fully-automatic blind rivet and blind rivet nut processing systems for craft and industry.
“As the inventor of battery-powered riveting technology, we launched the first battery-powered blind rivet setting tool, the 'AccuBird', back in 1992, and with the decision to join the CAS alliance, we have adhered to our value proposition of 'inventing success together'. A manufacturer-independent battery pack system makes perfect sense because CAS offers a system that is widespread on the market and provides a high level of supply security. Versatile, uncomplicated and reliable
“Rivet setting tools are used in almost all areas of craft and industry because blind riveting technology allows for the connection of parts made of metal and other materials easily, quickly and reliably. Another application is the insertion of solid internal or external threads with blind rivet nuts and studs into thin sheet metal. In industry, the technology is used primarily by car manufacturers and suppliers or for air conditioning systems and in the building sector. As a true all-rounder, the AccuBird® Pro sets blind rivets with diameters of up to five millimeters of all materials up to four times faster than standard battery-powered setting tools which is similar to the performance of pneumatically driven tools.
The BLDC motors operate with almost no wear, making them very durable. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the Bird Pro series fits particularly well in the hand and thus enables users to work for a long time without getting tired.
