New websites have to do a lot more than just look good. Notoriously tricky to get right, websites have to have the functionality that will help users get what they want – and do it efficiently.
Thankfully, pgb-Europe’s new website not only has a new look and feel, but behind the scenes the improved functionality has been developed to improve its service – in fact it was that aspect that drove the whole project. So, what’s new?
PERSONAL DASHBOARD
Customers, when logged in, will now benefit from a brand new personal dashboard. In short, this is a central hub containing important information like orders, backorders and order lists. With all those easily at hand, it enables customers to keep orders organised and – crucially – makes the ordering process easier.
In addition, relevant news will also be displayed on the dashboard, including news about product or exhibitions relevant to your business.
Access industry knowledge
pgb-Europe has been working hard on the data enrichment of its products and this is now reflected on the revamped website. Now products are backed with more information, better technical drawings and more technical details. With this new resource at the disposal of customers it will assist in choosing the right products. The project to improve and enrich product information is ongoing and will ensure customers have the correct and necessary information easily at hand.
