Metabo’s new versatile impact driver
(SSW 18 LT 300 BL) Cordless Impact Wrench Metabo’s compact cordless impact driver, with 1/2" male square drive, features a 300 Nm unique Metabo brushless motor for quick work progress and the highest levels efficiency, whatever the application.
It has three speed/torque levels for a varied range of tasks and a robust die cast aluminium gear housing for optimum heat dissipation and durability.
The integrated work light illuminates the work area while the handy belt hook can be fixed on either the right or left side as the user sees fit.
It’s compatible with Metabo’s own metaBOX, the intelligent solution for transport and storage (see below).
Those paying attention will already know Metabo is a founder member of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), meaning that the cordless impact driver can be combined with all 18V battery packs and chargers of the CAS brands.
MetaBOX storage
Power tool storage has come a long way in a short time thanks to industry leaders like Metabo, replacing humdrum-afterthought boxes for versatile and mobile solutions that make a difference to end users.
MetaBOX is a new tool storage concept from Metabo. Pitched as an intelligent transport and storage system for mobile working, MetaBOX is extremely robust and break-proof due to the material and design for maximum resilience. It provides optimum protection of machine and accessories against dirt and moisture (IP43).
The MetaBOX system makes for easy organisation for end users. There is fast and easy stacking and coupling of the boxes in all system widths and one box in the stack can easily be opened without having to decouple it. Ergonomics are covered too – a comfortable front handle is for carrying the box near to the user and an extra-wide cover handle (not for 185 XL) can be used to carry several stacked-up boxes. There are numerous tailor-made inserts (accessories) for individual order inside the box and a number of clever accessories are available, including a roller board for maximum mobility as well as an adapter plate to secure the boxes in the vehicle metaBOX 145 empty, without inserts.
