Expand-A-Sleeve is an ND Industries exclusive process in which customer fasteners are made self-sealing and self-retaining. Designed for use on assemblies that undergo an e-coat or paint bake process, ND’s custom formulated heat-activated mastics expand up to 1,000%, filling gaps and sealing out gas, fluid, and debris.
When press-fit into a mating unthreaded assembly, Expand-A-Sleeve fasteners will remain secure until a secondary process is complete.
Works with threaded fasteners, unthreaded pins, rivets, and more.
