Sustainable Product of the Year
Beck – LIGNOLOC
Beck unveiled its wooden collated nail system a number of years ago and has this year developed the sustainable range again, this time adding headed nails to the range, developed for façade construction in particular. These efficient metal-free nails are made with renewable beech wood, combining performance and sustainability. They are ideal for the increasing number of construction projects that want to use entirely sustainable or recyclable fastening systems.

This award winner was selected by the Torque-Expo team.
Video of the Year
Metabo – metaBOX
Metabo’s robust system case is suitable for the construction site and workshop alike, as well as for transporting tools and consumables. An irreverent but effective promotional video has been viewed tens of thousands of times on YouTube and carries a short message to end users to ‘sort their stuff out’.
Apprentice of the Year
Gesipa UK – Jonathan Watson
After starting at Gesipa UK’s Keithley HQ, Watson soon applied to its apprenticeship programme, where he combines study at Keighley College with working on the job. His day-to-day role includes carrying out servicing and repairs on tools.
